Husband and wife team, Dominique Chaudet, have been running this cosy little French restaurant since 1997. Dominique is French born and was trained in France; in 1983 he was head chef at Two Faces restaurant in South Yarra, Melbourne. They opened their first restaurant in 1984, called L'alouette in Brighton, Melbourne, where they received several ‘Hat’ Awards from The Age 'Good Food Guide'.

Dominique spent a few years teaching cooking in The William Angliss College, Melbourne, before starting this new venture on our sunny coast.

They have built a nice little niche; a fully licensed dining restaurant with art deco style decoration and a delightful ambience. A large painted mural on the wall of the main dining area was suggested by the menu of Maxims, the famous Parisian restaurant.

Chef and Owner Dominique knows the secret of success, customer satisfaction is his priority.
